Cheating

Oh My Goodness this diet is hard! It is so not sustainable for any length of time! Too many rules and it is crazy strict! It is not that I miss Carbs, because really I don't. What I do miss is Food. Actually food that you have to chew. Textures and flavors. Sigh.

Only another 16 days. 16 days is not that long, right?!?!?!

It is when you start counting how many fucking protein shakes I get to drink between now and then. LOL!

Over the weekend I cheated. I was a my niece's Birthday Party. The party was loooong. It was at Skate plaza. And with the diet I basically have to eat every 3 hours or I feel sick. I ate before we left the house at 11:30am. By around 2:30 I am starting to feel sick. But there was still presents to open and cake to eat. That is the most important part of a party for the kids. Add in that we were at Skate Plaza and all they serve is High Carb High fat foods and I was screwed. So when pizza was served at 3:30 I caved. I ate 2 smallish slices of pepperoni pizza and then since I already had blown my meal I ate a smallish piece of cake. I did pass on the soda and drank water instead. So there is something.

But folks I pay for it the rest of the day. I felt sick to my stomach and had a headache. I just felt oogy. For dinner I got back on track with a big salad with some chicken on it and some sauteed green beans. Hopefully my slip up won't effect my weigh in this coming Thursday. The dietitian wants to see me lose 10 pounds on this plan. As of Thursday of last week I had lost 5 pounds.

  2. It's OK to cheat. You will have times that not puking or passing out is the priority.just don't throw yourself under the bus just because you already fell off. Eat what you need, feel good about fulfilling a need,& move on.don't cannonball w cake. Healthy eating habits are the decision always of "what do I ned vs what will I eat",& the need oss always less than the want, this we work out to burn off the rest off the"want"items...youare doing great and learning new habits & gaining new tools everyday....you go girl!

  3. Thinking about you while you are at your appointment. I am very proud of how far you have come....even if you have only lost a few pounds. I tasted those shakes!! You are taking all the necessary steps to become a much healthier person, and this takes incredible will and strength. You really are doing AWESOME....and don't let one single day knock you down. It's one day at a time, and each day brings you closer to your ultimate goals. Love you :)
